Massage Therapy

Deep Tissue Massage

      • Massage that uses strong pressure and slow deep strokes. Deep tissue massage helps to break up adhesions between muscle fibers and increase the speed of tissue repair.

Sports Massage

      • Similar to deep tissue massage, but with a targeted focus on specific muscle groups applicable to the athlete.

Craniosacral Therapy

      • An alternative therapy using gentle pressure on the head and neck to examine and address headaches, head pain, etc.

Myofascial Release (Fascial Manipulation)

      • Direct myofascial release creates changes in the myofascial structures by stretching or mobilizing adhesive tissues. The indirect method involves a gentle stretch, with only a few grams of pressure, which allows the fascia to ‘unwind’ itself. The dysfunctional tissues are guided along the path of least resistance until free movement is achieved.

Trigger Point Therapy

      • Identifying trigger points, resolving them with pressure and elongating the structures affected along their natural range of motion and length.
