AMY LENNON, DC
grew up in Buffalo, New York where she was a competitive triathlete and played college softball and volleyball. She has been a resident of Portland for nearly 20 years. She’s very grateful to have such a satisfying life and supportive community both at HC and in SE Portland. She’s also very proud of her 3kids and spends most free time running around after them!
Amy is a current member of the American Chiropractic Association, The Chiropractic Association of Oregon, The American Chiropractic Sports Council and a graduate of Western States Chiropractic College and SUNY at Buffalo. After graduating Western States Chiropractic College, she worked as the director of women’s health at an outpatient clinic before opening a private practice with her husband Cliff. She spends a lot of time working with young athletes through her non-profit outreach called SPIT, where she works with parents, therapists, trainers, providers and coaches in an effort to lower injury rates and create performance enhancement for young athletes, though studying their performance in their sport. “Educating players and coaches is all it takes, we all want the same outcome- strong, healthy kids who get to play their best, without undue risk of injury.”
Amy has a strong interest in the problem solving aspects of chiropractic and enjoys searching for new techniques to aid the body to heal itself. Presently her interest in biomechanics through ART, but Graston and ART (Active Release Technique) have contributed to new levels of success with stubborn and unresolved cases. Amy’s genuine nerdy interest in research has resulted in an open mind regarding all different techniques of healing and a wide network of peer practitioners in multiple disciplines. As a result, we enjoy an extensive referral database.

CLIFF MARHOEFER, DC
received his Bachelor of Art degree in environmental studies from University of California Santa Barbara and his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College. He has been in private practice in Portland since 1993 and utilizes many soft tissue techniques in his own practice in addition to co-treating many patients/clients with LMT’s. He has been formally trained in Graston and Kinesiotaping and has advanced training in sports medicine (CCSP). He tends to be a very gentle provider and is the “brains” of the family, graduating magna cum laude from chiropractic college.
He also played Ultimate Frisbee for over 20 years, winning the national championships 2 times as a member of the Santa Barbara Condors. Now he enjoys traveling with his family, day to day family life plus his connection with his patients. He chases the kids while Amy is at work!

MATTHEW TODD, DC
graduated from Western States Chiropractic College with honors, magna cum laude, in 2006. Dr. Todd practiced as a chiropractic physician in Peru, which taught him the necessity of good patient-doctor communication. He is a doctor who takes the time to listen to his patients and addresses their concerns, which can dramatically increase patient satisfaction and resolution of their problems. He has a strong interest in sports medicine and has treated athletes at Hood to Coast and Portland Marathon, among other sporting events.
