First Visit- What to Expect

The first visit consists of a discussion of your health history and major concerns, diagnostic testing of structures and muscle groups, and a discussion to map your treatment plan, tailored to your needs and schedule. It will include a treatment as time allows. The doctor may ask for you to get an X-Ray or MRI, recommend massage therapy prior to chiropractic treatment, or refer you to a specialist if they see that is necessary.
Our clinic specializes in integrating soft-tissue techniques along with more standard chiropractic therapies. Our chiropractors work hand-in-hand with our massage therapists to create long-lasting results to heal you more quickly. We incorporate cutting edge soft tissue treatments such as Active Release Technique, Graston Technique, Kinesio Taping and supplements, as well as traditional chiropractic care, to gently and thoroughly resolve chronic pain and injuries. Our goal is to help you reach your health goals. We are here to help you recover from any imbalance great or small, be they overuse from hammering nails or plantar fascitis from running marathons. We have a contemporary rehab room where we work with you to build strength and balance.
Like most clinics, we request a few pages of health history from our patients. If you’d like to print out the applicable form beforehand to save time, you can find them on our Forms Page. If you would rather fill out the form here in our office, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment.
We look forward to meeting you! Your initial examination will take approximately one hour, while follow-up visits will generally last 15-30 minutes. Feel free to bring or wear comfortable clothing which allows stretching, like athletic shorts or pants. Women can bring a sports bra or tank top. Wearing form-fitting and stretchable clothing is important for diagnostic testing of body structures, and of course we will provide you with the necessary clothing if you don’t bring your own.

Please keep your scheduled appointments. Cancellation and re-scheduling should be made no less than 24 hours prior to appointment. A $30 charge will be applied to missed appointments.
